Zibaldone, as I understand it, is Italian for “heap of things” or “hodgepodge”. It’s a Catch-all for ideas, sketches, questions, things to explore, personal anecdotes. I use mine for capturing off-the-cuff ideas or ramblings. These often turn into stories or essays. It’s a fun practice that keeps me out of trouble and keeps me writing. It’s one of the most enjoyable parts of my day.
It’s imagining what Charli, my pet goose, might be thinking as she squawks to her duck friends. What she might be saying. It finds its way into my Zibaldone. This is where I’ll share some of my rambling thoughts and ideas. You’ll get a glimpse into how this nutty mind of mine works.
